A) All goods were personally packed by the customer sending a consignment which has been in their constant possession since packing
B) The customer has declared all contents and will not hold General Cargo liable for any undeclared items
C) The parcel may be disposed of if any dutiable items are packed and not declared
D) The customer will be liable for any costs incurred by General Cargo and their agents for undeclared items (including but not limited to port and storage costs)
E) The customer declares by signing the document or by telephone / text agreement that there is no contraband items (drugs, batteries, aerosols, corrosives, firearms, radioactive materials, pressurised cylinders, printer cartridges, etc…) or any dangerous or hazardous goods of any description packed inside the consignment
F) All deliveries are subject to weather conditions, flight schedule delays
G) Limits the liability for loss or damage to £200, Old parcels will be valued at £50, unless a higher value is declared and supplementary charge paid if required
H) The customer authorises General Cargo and their agents to complete all necessary export formalities on their behalf subject to their standard terms and conditions
I) If consignment is not received at destination and no enquiry is made within 12 weeks, we reserve the right to dispose of the consignment without further notice
J) On taking delivery, please check the weight and contents before leaving the collection point. General Cargo will not be held responsible for any shortages of goods once the item has left the collection point
K) General Cargo will not accept any claims for fragile items if not packed properly
L) The customer will pay all dues to General Cargo and will not pay any external agent without the authority of General Cargo
M) General Cargo may utilise third party service providers including and not limited to UPS, Parcel Force, DHL, TNT, Xpress Cargo for part or all of the cargo service
N) General Cargo will not be liable for any loss or damage by third party service providers including and not limited to UPS, Parcel Force, DHL, TNT, Xpress Cargo and any disputes must be taken up with the service provider
